On an exciting day full of achievements, Spika Tech S.L., a leader in technological innovation, has had the honour of welcoming the Minister of Science, Innovation and Universities of the Spanish Government, Diana Morant, to our stand in the Spanish Pavilion at the World Mobile Congress 2024, held in Barcelona.
Accompanied by the Secretary General for Innovation, Teresa Riesgo, the Director of Red.es, Jesús Herrero Poza, as well as the Deputy Director of Communication and External Relations of Red.es, Marta Ferrero Heras, the Minister and her team came to see first-hand the technological advances developed by Spika Tech S.L.
During the visit, Enrique Saiz Manceñido, director of the Robotics Division of Spika Tech S.L., presented two of the company’s most outstanding innovations: VR-CARDIO and PRAS. These revolutionary devices not only captured the attention of the authorities present, but also aroused their interest for their potential impact on health and the healthcare system.
VR-Cardio, equipped with a device that collects the patient’s cardiac signals, uses an algorithm to detect anomalies without invasive procedures, was highlighted for its ability to potentially save 1.2 billion euros per year spent on cardiac mapping in Spain.
On the other hand, our Autonomous Robotic Service Platform PRAS, was presented as a multifunctional robot. In this case, as a medicine dispenser and biometric control. This solution not only optimises healthcare, but also reduces the risk of contagion in critical situations such as pandemics.
The participation of the Minister and her team, as well as their interest in the programming of Spika Tech’s devices, reflects their commitment to innovation and technology being developed by SMEs in Spain.
Furthermore, Spika Tech reaffirms its commitment to excellence and the promotion of the presence of women in management positions, serving as an example for new generations of women scientists and researchers.
